Paintings and Photos by Gloria Jean, Queen of Coins

What we perceive as reality is only a canvas waiting for us to draw upon it any picture we want.

Painting by Gloria Jean, Unbroken. Oil portrait of Aspen

Title: "Unbroken"
Oil on canvas

Title: "Carry a big brush."
Portrait of Aspen in Oils

The children pictured above have lived difficult childhoods. "Unbroken"was given the background of the world trade center destruction to symbolize the destruction that surrounded his young life with alcoholic and drug addicted parents. ""Carry a big brush" symbolizes how children have to be more creative and stronger than their parents in order to survive without them. Both children are exceptionally intelligent and creative survivors of a troubled generation.

I will be adding more of my paintings and some photos soon.
