Using the Tarot ~ In Search of Secrets
So what does the tarot have to do with the search for secrets, hidden knowledge and the holy grail? It mostly has to do with images, symbols and their interpretations.
Tarot: A Language of Images
In the vast world of consciousness there really is no spoken language, but there are images, feelings, perceptions, symbols and interpretations. To put it simply, consciousness not only creates with thought but also communicates with thought. This thought is in the form of images and feelings.
Tarot cards contain images and symbols that can speak to the human consciousness. These images and symbols seem to have meanings according to the experience of the observer or through the collective unconscious.
Symbolism on tarot cards or any symbolism on anything for that matter, has no real meaning except for the meaning they have been given by a conscious thinking individual. These meanings can change over time as society and human consciousness changes. Over time, signs and images can take on different meanings to different individuals.
Tarot: A Tool to Reveal Secrets.
For me, the tarot is a tool that communicates using images where a language is not spoken. They are symbols, signs and reflections of energies present within (the event) of the moment. If you learn to read them, they will reveal secrets that are hidden by the unconscious. All things and events are powered by thought, feeling and vibration. If a card is drawn with thought and feeling or with a question in mind, the hand is guided to the card with the matching vibration. This agrees with the law of attraction that states that nothing comes into your experience that you did not create or invite.
Tarot: A Tool For Divination.
All events and outcomes are probabilities until they manifest in your linear time experience. The tarot addresses the energies that are present in that moment. There are some events that are past the point of no return. They have already been created and have just not completely manifested in your experience. This is when the cards will appear to reveal a future event. They are revealing an event that has already been created, but simply has not occurred in your experience yet.
The cards can also appear to foretell a future event when they point to a probability in the making and when no course of action is taken to change your creative process, the event manifests because of the natural order of cause and effect. Sometimes a reader will speak of an event in process, not knowing if it has occurred yet, as all that exists, exists in the present moment.
A word of caution in divination readings:
Another question to consider is whether or not a card reader predicting a future event for someone else could be a contributing factor towards the cause of an event's manifestation simply by bringing attention to the probability.
If the event is said to be quite a distance into the future and the client believes the reader, he may start to visualize, worry and think about it. If so, the tarot card reader could be said to be partly responsible for the manifestation of this event simply by the planting of the suggestion, much like a hypnotist. However, if it is a true and accurate reading, chances are the client has already been visualizing and worrying about it thus setting it up. Responsibility for the creation and attraction of your experience is always with you.
Tarot card readers should understand the creative principle and how the law of attraction at works. They may not be helping their clients by drawing attention to negative probabilities, unless they can help to guide them onto a different path of un-creation of an unwanted event.
Belief is a powerful tool in the implicate order of creation. Hypnotists know this, some tarot card readers and magicians also know this. Walk away from any reading that seems dark and mysterious or instills fear. Know that your future and your experience is always completely in your own hands and can be revealed to you as well. You can change your future and you can alter your reality.
